WHAT DOES GIANT KOI FISH MEAN?

I purchased what I assumed was a Koi betta - mostly white with a small amount of purple and black. He has entirely changed hues, and now he's mainly blue and black!Not like A few other normally stored fish, like goldfish, Koi bettas will not likely take advantage of the addition of contemporary foods, like fruits and vegetables, within their diet.
